Siren Receives Grant for Defibrillators

The city of Siren is one of 20 cities that was chosen to receive a yearly grant of $2,500 for defibrillators and firefighter equipment.  The grant is part of $50,000 in awards given out by AgStar Financial services. Mortgage Specialist Jack Klein, who works in the Burnett and Pine County areas, says this money is significant for communities like Siren.

Siren will receive the $2,500 check on Monday, November 16th.  The 20 cities were picked from 69 counties in Minnesota and Northwest Wisconsin.
