jeremykalinRepresentative Jeremy Kalin of North Branch is one of a handful of state legislators leaving for Israel Wednesday as part of an educational trip to learn about Israel’s clean and high tech businesses.

The bi-partisan group will spend nine days meeting with political and religious leaders.  Kalin says while he hopes to learn a lot, he also hopes to show the work Minnesota is doing on clean energy.

All the legislators making the trip are paying their own way.  Kalin says he has cousins that live in Tel Aviv and he and his wife will spend several days there and enjoy a traditional Israeli dinner.
