Looking Back on the Future
Pine City residents were able to take a second look, Wednesday, at the plans put together by the Minnesota Design Team who visited the city the last month. The MDT is a group of volunteers made up of 20 engineers, architects, and urban and city planners that typically works with rural communities with populations between 2,500 and 6,000 people.
When they came to Pine City, the Design Team put together 25 poster boards with ideas to enhance Pine City in the future. Pine City Planner Nathan Johnson talks about the what he’s hearing from city residents about the design teams plans.
