The Polk County Sheriff’s Department was involved in a bomb scare, Monday.  The department responded to a call of seven suspicious suitcases at the SuperAmerica gas station store on Hwy. 8, and across the street at Wayne’s Cafe.

The suitcases were found to be empty but Polk County Sheriff Tim Moore says it is important to take every precaution.
