Ouellette Children “”Doing as well as can be expected.”

OuelletteFamily and friends of the children of Candice and Doug Ouellette are coming together Tuesday to show their support for the three who lost both of their parents this summer.

Doug Ouellette choked his wife Candice to death before taking his own life on August 5th.

A benefit dinner and concert is scheduled for Tuesday at at the Jacobson Elementary School in Rush City and includes a raffle and performance by Jack Pearson.  The money raised will be donated to the Ouellette Children Fund.

Tenhoff says the children, who used to attend Rush City schools, are now living and attending school in the Twin Cities.  Tenhoff says they are “doing as well as can be expected.”

She also says even though the Ouellette children do no attend the school, there is still a lot of love for the family in the community.
