Man Sentenced for Role in Hinckley Stabbing
A 21-year-old man from Wyoming, MN was sentenced in Pine County court for his role in a 2008 stabbing at the Little Store in Hinckley.
Daniel Kenney was sentenced on October 6th to 90 days in jail for fifth degree assault. A charge of second degree assault was dismissed.
According to the criminal complaint, Kenney got into a fight with a man on June 21st, 2008. His brother, Joshua Kenney joined in on the fight, pulled out a knife and stabbed at the victim three times, connecting once on the arm.
Joshua Kenney pleaded guilty in September of 2008 to an amended charge of third degree assault and was sentenced to 180 days in jail.
