Pine Tech Enrollment Rises; Largest in State
Enrollment at Minnesota State Colleges and Universities is on the rise. MnSCU reports that 13 state colleges increased enrollment from last fall by double digits. Leading the way is Pine Technical College.

Pine Tech has 952 students enrolled this fall, up 156 from a year ago. Anoka-Ramsey Community College who has a campus in Cambridge increased enrollment by 11.4 percent.

The state colleges and universities system now has 198,792 students or 12,641 more students than last fall when 186,150 students were enrolled. That’s nearly a 7 percent increase. Previously, the largest increase in the fall headcount was 9,023 additional students in 1999. Also, this is the fourth consecutive year that the system’s fall enrollment has set a record high.
