MARRIAGE PROPOSAL
Eric Anderson decided to propose to Rachel Clark and he noticed the bus shelter she uses every day had some unused ad space. So he convinced the company that sells the ad space to give it to him at a discounted rate. “Rachel! I love you! Let’s be a team forever! Will you marry me? XOXO, Eric,” the message read. She said yes. “At first I was afraid it wouldn’t be very romantic — it’s a bus station,” he said. “But I mentioned it to her sister and my cousin, and they were both excited about it. I had two women who liked it, so I went with it.”

ELK PUNISHMENT
Estes Park, CO. Elk have been especially aggressive this rutting season. So Rick Spowart has taken action. He said he received a call from a golf course manager last week about a bull elk chasing people away from the green of a hole. He drugged the elk and sawed off it’s antlers so it couldn’t pose a danger to itself or others. “The night before he (the bull elk) gored a car,” Spowardt said.

LONG DISTANCE BUST
A woman in the Phillipines was watching her usbands place on a web cam from tinker Air Force base in Oklahoma. She noticed some teens ripping off an apartment. So she called her husband who called the cops and arrested 3 teens. Police say all three were ID’d in a photo lineup e-mailed to the woman in the Philippines. She’s waiting for her visa so she can join her husband here.

SHE’S GOING TO HELL
Here’s how you know you’ve gone down the dark side. A woman put a forged $50 stolen check in the offering plate of the First Presbyterian Church in New Brighton, PA. Then she stole a woman’s wallet from a pew during the service eventually charging $200 in merchandise on a stolen credit card. She also tried to use a credit card stolen from another church to get a $16,000 cash advance, but the bank refused.

THAT’S NOT CANDY
Violet Bishop, 87, of Coeur d’Alene, Idaho was watching TV when she decided to break into the halloween candy early. “I reached for my Milk Duds box and poured a couple of morsels in my hand and threw them back and started to munch. “As I enjoyed the chocolate and caramel taste, it appeared that one of my Milk Duds was not as fresh as the others. “One was rather crunchy and I could not get it to soften up, no matter how hard I tried.” As it ends up Violet was chewing on one of her hearing aids that had fallen out and into the box of Milk Duds. fortunately she didn’t finish the hearing aid and she and it suffered no real damage. It did take $125 to clean up the caramel and chocolate from it.
