Burnett Co. Sheriff’s Seize Over 22 Pounds of Marijuana

Kenneth KingA Trade Lake Township man was arrested on October 1st after Burnett County Sheriff’s officials executed a search warrant seizing over 22 pounds of marijuana.

The Burnett County District Attorney’s Office is handling the criminal charges against Kenneth King, 48.

According to the Burnett County Sheriff’s Department, officials executed the search warrant on King’s residence in southeastern Trade Lake Township.  Deputies seized 22.75 pounds of what is described as recently harvested marijuana.  They also confiscated a trailer allegedly used for dying and storage of marijuana, and several items of drug paraphernalia.

The search warrant and arrest came as a result of an ongoing investigation by the Burnett County Sheriff’s Department, Polk County Sheriff’s Department and the Wisconsin Division of Criminal Investigation.
