Offender members of the Minnesota Correctional Facility (MCF)-Rush City’s Restorative Justice Committee donated $281 to the Black Dog Hill Women’s Shelter in Chisago County.  The money was raised through contributions from the offender population.

Black Dog Hill provides shelter and social services assistance in Isanti, Chisago, Pine, and Kanabec Counties to battered women and women in search of help and security.

The MCF-Rush City Restorative Justice Committee focuses on the harm inflicted by crime and works to repair that harm to the degree possible.
