It’s been almost two months since Minnesota native Shane Bauer and two others went missing in Iran.  His mother Cindy Hickey lives in Pine City and talked to Red Rock Radio about her son, the efforts to bring him home, and the local support of Shane and his family.

A special vigil will be held on Sunday, September 27th at the Spiritual Deli in Duluth for Shane and the two other missing hikers, Sarah Shourd and Joshua Fattal.

The vigil will include a gathering of prayer and a silent auction.  The money raised in the auction will go towards helping the families manage costs as they continue to try to bring their children home.
