Mora and Rush City Residents Involved in Motorcycle Crash

A three motorcycle crash in Mower County, Thursday, involved a pair of residents from Mora and Rush City.

According to the Minnesota State Patrol, David Olesen, 59, of Mora was driving a 2004 Honda motorcycle, and made an abrupt stop.  He and the passenger, Betty Olesen, 57, fell from the bike.

The motorcycle then collided with two other bikes.  One of the other motorcycles was driven by Loren Olsen, 55, of Rush City.  He was riding with his wife, Connie Olson.  The third bike was driven by Jonelle Keene, 49, of St. Paul.

The Olesen’s both suffered non-life threatening injuries.  They were taken to St. Mary’s Hospital in Rochester.  None of the other bikers suffered any injuries.  All five involved in the crash were wearing helmets at the time of the crash, which occured around 1:20 p.m. on Thursday.
