The Burnett County Fair is underway in Grantsburg. Events are taking place all weekend long. Fair board member Bruce Scheider says there is something for everyone this year.

Scheider is also involved with running the demo derby, one of the main attractions at the grandstand. He adds that there are more pre-registered participants this year than any other year, with 60 signed up for Friday’s derby.
The Demo Derby generally draws the largest crowds, according to Scheider, but he says more and more people are coming out for the tractor pull. J.D. Glover is helping coordinate the tractor pull and chainsaw races, and he says events like these help make the fair special.
