Hinckley Man Asks Klobuchar Plan for Medicare During Tele-Town Hall Meeting
John from Hinckley was one of about 10,000 people who sat in on a tele-town hall meeting held by U.S. Senator Amy Klobuchar Sunday night. His question was, however, one of the handful answered directly by the Senator from Minnesota.
John, who did not identify his last name, asked Klobuchar about the future of Medicare.
Hear John’s question and Klobuchar’s answer:
Congress continues to work on passing a health care reform bill, but there is no final version. Klobuchar says health care reform is a personal matter for her.
Hear Klobuchar’s opening statements:
Klobuchar was joined Sunday by Dr. Denis Cortese, CEO of the Mayo Clinic in Rochester and Mary Wakefield, the highest ranking nurse in the federal government.
