Rush City residents got their first look at the new $386,000 pumper truck that is now in service by the fire department. The department put the new truck on display at Tuesday’s Community Appreciation Night. Fire Chief Bob Carlson says he is impressed with the efficiency of the machine. Carlson says the department has used the new truck for several small fires.
