P.C. Schools and Kraus-Anderson Fined by MPCA
Several local projects are on the list of the Minnesota Pollution Control Agency’s enforcement cases for the second quarter of 2009. Kraus-Anderson Construction and the Pine City School District were fined for two separate violations.
The first is a penalty of $3,850 for stormwater violations. A second stormwater violation penalized the school district and Kraus-Anderon $2,750. The city of Moose Lake was fined $9,300 for water quality violations.
The MPCA concluded 77 enforcement cases totaling $501,842 for the quarter. The cases occurred at facilities in 36 counties across the state.
