Nelson Jr. Charged In Chase Ending in Harris
The man arrested in Harris after a high speed chase up Interstate-35 Tuesday morning has been charged. David Nelson Jr., 27, of St. Paul appeared in court Wednesday. He is charged with one felony count of fleeing an officer in a motor vehicle. Police were searching for Nelson for his alleged involvement with a shooting in St. Paul Sunday that left Robert Flores, 38, dead and two others in critical condition. If convicted on the fleeing charges, Nelson faces up to three years in prison and or a $5,000 fine.
