*Update* Rush City Man Injured in Semi Rollover

A 47-year-old Rush City man was injured Tuesday morning after a single vehicle rollover accident in Freeborn County.  Douglas Besch was transported to St. Mary’s Hospital in Rochester.

According to the Minnesota State Patrol, Besch was driving a Freightliner Semi northbound on I-35. The vehicle left the roadway and tipped over blocking County Road 46.

His injuries are described as non-life threatening.  He was not wearing his seat belt at the time of the crash, which happened around 4:15 a.m.

The Albert Lea Police Department and Freeborn County Sheriff’s Department responded to the scene.
