Large Turnouts Expected at Annual Boat Parade

Friday, July 3rd, 2009 at 4:55 am

Boats will line the waters of Pine City this weekend for the Cross Lake Association Annual Boat Parade. Last year, 35 boats were decorated in red, white, and blue for the fourth of July.  Eddie Wilbert, who is one of the parade coordinators, expects an even greater turnout this year.

The top three decorated boats will receive cash prizes.  Wilbert says those with the best chance of leaving the parade with some money need to show both creativity and patriotism.
