Bed Races and Parade Highlight Siren’s 4th

There is no place like Siren, Wisconsin to celebrate America’s Independence Day, says Bed Races co-coordinator Peggy Strabel. A busy day scheduled Saturday in the northwest Wisconsin city, but the highlights are the bed races and parade.  Strabel says the bed races are an event like none other.

Last year 12 beds entered into the contest and those who are interested can still register.  A parade will also proceed through the streets of Siren.  Strabel says the weekend events are about sparking the community spirit.
