Grand Casinos Win Six Awards
ONAMIA, Minn. and HINCKLEY, Minn. – Grand Casino Mille Lacs and Grand Casino Hinckley received a combined six awards in the 2009 Midwest Gaming & Travel Readers’ Choice Awards survey of Native American casinos.
Both casinos were honored for having the best players club in Minnesota. In March, both casinos rolled out enhancements to the already popular Grand Rewards Players Club. The new club now has five tiers with specific benefits for each tier, plus more rewards, more discounts, and more members-only invitations. The players club continues to remain one of the few players clubs in the country to offer cash and complimentary rewards for playing slots and table games at either Grand Casino Mille Lacs, Grand Casino Hinckley, or both. Membership is free.
Grand Casino Hinckley was also recognized for throwing the state’s best players club parties, having the friendliest dealers, best casino hosts, and readers’ favorite casual restaurant – Grand Grill Americana.
Grand Casino Mille Lacs was also recognized for having readers’ favorite fine dining restaurant – Woodlands Steakhouse.
“We view these awards as major accomplishments that recognize our hard work and most importantly, our commitment to our Guests,” said Joe Nayquonabe, corporate vice president of marketing for the Mille Lacs Band’s Corporate Commission, which operates the casinos. “We have a team of Associates who value our Guests above all else. I am proud of them for enhancing our Guests’ experience, and I am grateful to our dedicated Guests for continuing to make Grand Casino Mille Lacs and Grand Casino Hinckley their casinos of choice.”
