The Pine City LIONS Club held it’s first ever “Community Leadership Awards Dinner,” Thursday, at the Pine City Country Club. The Club awarded five individuals with the prestigious Lions Award.

Lions Award Winners:
Mary Kay Sloan – Pine City Planning Commission Chairperson
Max Blaufuss – Owned and Operated “Lakeside Nursing Home.”
Beth Iallonardo – Former manager of the Pine City Wal-Mart Super Store
Jane Robbins – Mayor of Pine City
Julie Werner – Manager of Pine City Food Shelf
The group also handed out special awards Bill McQuillan, Jim Dombrock, and Gene Pals. Pals received the “Leadership Medallion,” which is a national recognition.
