Carlyle Sherstad 5K Expecting Biggest Turnout Ever
The fourth annual Carlyle Sherstad 5K run is Saturday. There are already over 200 participants signed up for the day’s events, with more expected to register on race day. Coordinator Kelli Eklof says the race continues to grow in popularity.
New this year is the “Kiddie Carlyle,” a 100-yard dash for kids seven years of age and under.
All the money raised from the race is going to Kinship of Burnett County, a youth mentoring program that focuses on promoting healthy lifestyles in the lives of Burnett County’s young people.
