The Sheriff’s Department used three 19-year-old students to attempt to purchase alcohol. Sheriff Roland says they did not try to hide their age.

Roland says he does not expect to issue citations, but adds that additional checks will take place within the next 60 to 90 days.  This is the first time compliance checks have been done during Roland’s administration, which is now six and a half years.
