Pine City Superintendent Search Moves Forward

The Pine City School board continues its search for a new superintendent.  Three candidates are schedule for interviews, Thursday, May 28th.  The school board will hold a special meeting at the High School Board room at 12:30 p.m.

The three candidates set for interviews are Dennis Fischer, who currently serves as the school board business manager, Dr. Jim A. Torkelson, principal of West Elementary in Grand Forks, N.D. and Wayne Olson, superintendent of Comfrey, Minn.

Current superintendent Darwin Bostic tells Red Rock Radio there could be more candidates in the future.
