The case against Teri LaSarge, 20, of Sandstone received a continuance Thursday.

LaSarge’s lawyer Stephen Robert Zuber out of  Superior, WI asked to withdraw from the case.  He told the court their was a “breakdown” in the attorney client relationship.  Zuber said LaSarge failed to make payments and there were other confidential issues Judge P. Hunter Anderson did not disclose.

Zuber’s request was granted.

LaSarge, who is accused of two counts of assault, including one count of first degree assault,  for a New Years Day stabbing in Sandstone, says she will hire another private attorney.  She is due back in court June 5th.
