Loading ...Funeral Services Announced for Plane Crash Victim
Michael Schute, 48, of Grantsburg and formerly of Sandstone, was killed in a plane crash Wednesday afternoon south of Grantsburg. He was the pilot of the plane and was the only person inside when it crashed.
Engine failure is believed to have caused the accident.
Funeral services for Schute will take place Thursday, April 30th at 11 a.m. at Danforth Community Chapel. There will be visitation on Wednesday from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. at the Methven Funeral Home in Sandstone. Visitation will continue an hour prior to the service, Thursday.
Schute is survived by: Son- Chris (Alicia) of Hinckley. Grandchild: Emiliana Schute. Brothers: Jeff of Sandstone and Bob (Joann) of Arizona. Sister: Julie Franklin of Sandstone.
