Monday, March 16th, 2009 at 11:31 am

timfaustMinnesota Governor Tim Pawlenty is expected to unveil an updated version of his budget on Thursday.  The state is facing a 4.6 billion dollar deficit, including money from a federal stimulus bill.  The governor has promised not to raise taxes, despite a proposal from Democrats in the Senate who are calling for $2 billion in tax increases for the highest earning Minnesotans.  Representative Tim Faust from Hinckley says the tax increases can benefit his district.

Tax increases can benefit his district. You heard it here. Voters wake up and realize what lack of representaion you have in St. Paul!

Also Faust’s insinuation that someone just made up the DFL proposal to cut a billion from schools is completely false. It was absolutely in the Senate DFL proposal and there IS plenty of documentation and news sources.
