Rush City Inmate Charged with Homicide
Jaymichael Hargrove, an inmate at the Minnesota Correctional Facility-Rush City, was charged on February 20th with second-degree murder and attempted second-degree murder for an incident in 1998.
Hargrove allegedly killed an 18-year-old Minneapolis man, and shot his girlfriend who suffered severe injuries. Previous charges against Hargrove regarding the murder were dismissed.
The case was re-opened with the discovery of new evidence.
Hargrove is currently in the Rush City Correctional facility for an unrelated sex crime in 2004.
