Court Appearance for Accused Knife Lake Murderers Delayed

The court appearance for Craig Hohenwald, 27, scheduled for Thursday has been pushed back until April 22nd. The Kanabec County Attorney’s Office tells Red Rock Radio, that due to the magnitude of the case, more time is needed to review all the details.

Hohenwald, a resident of Brook Park, is charged with four counts of second degree murder, for the deaths of Larry and Lois Steenerson at their Knife Lake home on February 8th. Each charge is punishable by up to 40 years in prison.
Both he and Jennifer Ann-Lind Seiberlich, 28, remain in the Kanabec County Jail.
Seiberlich, of Mora, faces two counts of aiding an offender for her alleged role in the murders. Count One carries a penalty of 20 years imprisonment and the other carries a $5,000 fine and/or three years imprisonment. She is due back in court on March 20th.
