Donate To Battered Women and Children’s Shelter

Beds are already filled at the Black Dog Hill Shelter that opened, Wednesday,  in Cambridge.  Three people are already staying at the shelter which currently has only three beds.   There is a need for beds and other supplies. Click Here to read more on the shelter for battered women and children.

The following is a list of items needed at the shelter and contact information for donations.

2 queen size beds with mattresses

3 bunk beds with mattresses (must be sturdy) – we have someone who builds sturdy bunks and if we buy 2 for $500 will give us one free

Mattress pads and plastic covers

Commercial front load washer and dryer

Upright freezer

Corelle (or similar product) dishes for 16+

Silverware for 16+

Pots and pans etc

Bakeware

Food storage containers

8 laundry baskets

6 20” flat screen tvs

1 36-42” flat screen tv

2 DVD players

Copy machine

Printer/fax machine

4 desktop computers

8 clock radios

Car seats

20 – 18 gallon totes

Dining room table and chairs to seat 12

5 dressers

Restaurant/commercial metal shelving for food

4 wood or glider rocking chairs

2 neutral color recliners

Dry erase board – approximately 3’ wide
