[Update] Two Arrested for Marijuana in Mail
Two people are under arrest after authorities discovered a package full of marijuana sent through the mail to a Harris residence.
The Chisago County Sheriff’s office received a call from the U.S Postal Service warning about the package. Drug sniffing dogs indicated the package contained drugs. The Sheriff’s office obtained a search warrant, delivered the package to the home and proceeded to search the residence.
The package contained 13-pounds of marijuana, which authorities say is worth about $24,000. The two people in the home where the package was sent were arrested. Names are not available due to pending charges.
