allintimingFor the past two months, the cast of Pine City High School’s One Act Play, “All in the Timing,” has been preparing for a grueling sub-section contest this Saturday in Foley. The students were excited to present their comedy against local rivals such as Mora, Rush City, and Hinckley-Finlayson in Sub-Section 4A North Festival, but on Wednesday, the Pine City thespians were reassigned to Sub-Section 4A South.

The local students will perform at 2:45pm this Saturday at Harding High School in St. Paul. Pine City will be performing against virtually
unknown competition, including schools such as Maranatha Christian
Academy, Providence Academy, Holy Family Catholic, St. Paul Harding, and Main Street School for the Performing Arts.

The student actors urge their family, friends, and community supporters to
attend this weekend’s festival. The cost of attendance is $6 for adults
and $4 for students for a day-long pass.

The top two plays at Saturday’s contest will advance to Section 4A contest
at East Central High School in Sandstone on February 7.
