The Pine County Sheriff’s Department continues to investigate a series of bomb threats made against the Willow River School District. In the criminal complaint, Willow River School Principal Scott Anderson told deputies that the school received a voice message from a female caller at 5:49 a.m. on Wednesday, January 14th stating “bombs are going off at 9:33, 1:33, and 2:00. You didn’t believe me yesterday so I reset the times. Ha Ha.”

The complaint states a school employee identified the voice as Lorinda Burgeson, 53, of Sturgeon Lake. The employee told deputies that Burgeson made multiple calls to the school everyday for the past two to three years.

Burgeson appeared in Pine County Court, Friday. She faces four counts of Terroristic Threats. She is due back in court on January 30th.
