[Update] Deceased Woman in Sandstone Fire Identified
The name of the woman whose body was found in a trailer that was destroyed by a fire Friday in Sandstone is identified as Trudy Mae Gloe, 43.
The body was sent to the Ramsey County Medical Examiner for identification. The examiner determined the death was an accident and caused by acute carbon monoxide poisoning. Gloe’s body was discovered in the remains of the structure at 10:45 p.m. after the fire was reported at 7:40 a.m. on Fleming Logging Road.
The structure was a complete loss. The Pine County Sheriff’s Office and the Minnesota Fire Marshall are investigating a fire that resulted in the death of a Sandstone resident.
Fire departments from Sandstone, Askov, Duxbury, and Bruno responded to the blaze.
