Arrest made in Willow River School District Bombs Threats

burgesonPine County Sheriff’s arrested Lorinda Joyce Burgeson, 53, of Sturgeon Lake in connection with bomb threats made to the Willow River School District on January 13th and 14th.

Burgeson is being held in the Pine County Jail. Formal charges are pending from the Pine County Attorney’s Office.

The district shut down classes for Tuesday and Wednesday, according to Pine County Chief Deputy Steve Ovick.
