[Update] Braham Teen Dies After Friday Crash

Allen Kelling, 19, of Braham died Saturday night as a result of a two vehicle crash Friday night in Kanabec County. According to the Minnesota State Patrol, Kelling was driving a 2002 Pontiac Grand Prix southbound on Highway 107. Kelling’s vehicle was broadsided by a 1997 Pontiac Bonneville driven by Brenna Luck, 18, of Ramsey. The report states that Luck ran a stop sign resulting in the crash. She was taken to the Kanabec Hospital but suffered no injuries.

Kelling was transported to the North Memorial Hospital in Robbinsdale. He suffered head injuries and passed away at the hospital at 8:15 p.m. on Saturday.

Edward Workman, 18, was a passenger in the car driven by Kelling. Workman was uninjured.

The crash occurred just after 10:30 p.m. at Highway 70, three miles north of Braham.
