Siren Man Sentenced for Drug Distribution
A 28-year-old Siren man faces up to 40 years behind bars. Joseph Merrill pleaded guilty December 30th in U.S. District Court in Madison to distributing 18.5 grams of crack cocaine. Merrill was arrested after selling the drugs to an undercover agent.
Sentencing is scheduled for February 27th.
Merrill was arrested as part of a multiagency drug trafficking investigation that includes the Burnett and Polk County Sheriff’s Departments.
