Aitkin County Sheriff Scott Turner says there is no connection between a juvenile arrested for arson in McGrath and the string of arsons on Big Pine Lake near Finlayson in April. A cabin was intentionally set on fire on December 7th at 255th Place on Bear Lake.

State Fire Marshal Mark Germain tells Red Rock Radio the juvenile was questioned, but says there is no evidence the individual is connected to the April fires.

Germain says the Big Pine Lake cases remain open and authorities are following leads. However, no arrests have been made.
