(State Capitol, Madison). . . State Senator Sheila Harsdorf (R – River Falls) has been appointed to serve as the ranking Republican on the Senate Committee on Agriculture and Higher Education. Additionally, Harsdorf will serve on the Senate Committee on Commerce, Utilities, and Rail.

“Agriculture and higher education are vital interests to residents of the10th Senate District,” said Harsdorf. “With two university campuses and two technical colleges in the district, the role of higher education in our region’s economy is significant. She’s a tireless advocate for Wisconsin’s farmers and will serve them well on this important committee.”

The Senate Committee on Commerce, Utilities, and Rail will deal with a variety of issues critical to Wisconsin’s infrastructure and economic development.
