A significant snow storm is expected to effect the East Central Minnesota and Northwest Wisconsin region Saturday morning through Sunday morning. Six to eight inches of snow is expected to fall. Gusty northwest winds are expected to develop behind the storm on Sunday night and Monday, bringing bitterly cold arctic air and dangerously cold wind chills Sunday night and Monday.

The winter storm watch means there is the potential for significant accumulation of snow that may impact travel and commerce.
