The Pine County “Lock-Up” is expected to exceed its goal. The drive, which was held at the Northwest Company Fur Post in Pine City, Thursday, raised money to send children with Muscular Dystrophy to summer camps.

District Director, Jennifer Crown, reports that as of Friday, the drive raised over $12,000 and expects another $3,000 to $4,000 to come in by the end of next week. The “Lock-Up” set a goal of $14,000.

Crown says 133 people participated in the event. A second “Lock-Up” will be held in Polk County in January at the Holiday Inn Express in St. Croix Falls.
