Missing Teen: Sheriffs Ask for Community Help

The Isanti County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the help of the community in the search for a missing 17-year-old girl. Christin Bernice Swenson has been missing since Monday.

She last made contact with her family around 8 p.m. She was driving home from North Branch Township from Red Wing. She was working at Econofoods.

Swenson is white, 5’5, weighs 105 pounds, long blond hair and brown eyes.

She was last seen driving a 2000 Chevy Malibu, pewter in color, with Minnesota license UGA 376. Anyone with information is asked to contact the sheriffs office at 763-689-2141.

Authorities are searching for Wade James Swenson, 38, of Hager City, WI as a person of interest.

Using ATM information, authorities have tracked Swenson into Kansas.
