Grantsburg High School Receives National Recognition

Grantsburg High School was recently identified as one of the top high schools in the United States. U. S. News and World Report, in collaboration with School Evaluation Services (a data research and business analysis firm) analyzed academic and enrollment data from 21,069 public high schools to find the very best across the country and awarded GHS their Silver Medal.

GHS is in the top 2% of high schools in the nation. Only five other schools in Wisconsin received the silver ranking, with an additional 52 Wisconsin schools ranked in the top 1,321, or “Bronze Medal” level.

High schools were evaluated on a variety of factors, such as student achievement, demographics, class offerings, and college-readiness.The Grantsburg community has a long tradition of support for its school system.
The investment of time, talent, quality facilities, public tax dollars, and hard work from staff are paying dividends for our students. Congratulations to GHS students and staff for once again demonstrating that Grantsburg is one of the best high schools in the USA!
