Trent Stringer, 50, of St. Croix Falls was sentenced in Polk County Court, December 2nd for the rape of a minor. Stringer pleaded guilty to 1st Degree Child Sex Assault – Sexual Contact with Person under Age of 13.

He was sentenced to 15 years in state prison and 15 years extended supervision.

Stringer must also register as a sex offender and remain compliant with the sex offender registry program and pay all annual fees and participate in and complete sex offender treatment. He must be financially responsible for the counseling of the victim related to this present offense, must be financially responsible for any counseling needs to the family that is related to this present offense and must maintain stable residence.
