PCHS Holiday Concert Tonight!
Pine City High School proudly presents its annual Holiday Concert Monday at 7:30pm in the Elementary Auditorium. The concert will feature a variety of music – both traditional and contemporary – showcasing over
200 talented student-musicians.
Jazz One will play traditional seasonal favorites like “Winter Wonderland” and “My Favorite Things,” while the Concert Choir will present the ever-popular “Carol of the Bells” and the Hallelujah Chorus from Handel’s Messiah. The concert will also feature contemporary carols, with the Mixed Choir performing “Wintersong” and the Pine City Singers chamber choir performing an a cappella version of Tchakovsky’s “Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairy” from the Nutcracker.
The annual holiday concert has become a local holiday tradition, so even
though admission is free, audience members are encouraged to arrive early
to guarantee a seat.
The Music Department will continue its series of Holiday Concerts with the
Elementary Band and Choir Concert this Thursday, December 11 at 7pm.
