The Kanabec County Times reports police are actively looking for former Kanabec County Sheriff Von Thompson. Thompson is accused of exploiting more than $172,000 from a 91-year-old Mora man between October of 2007 and May of 2008. According to the Times, Thompson violated release conditions and a warrant is out for his arrest. His next court appearance is scheduled for December 19th.
