“On the Road” for Braham’s Pies

Jason Davis, KSTP, enjoys pie in Braham
KSTP-TV’s Jason Davis stopped by the Park Cafe on Main Street in Braham. Davis is filming for his feature “How Sweet it Is.” He is going around to communities throughout the state, talking to candy makers and other bakers of sweet treats. In 1990, Braham was named as the “Homemade Pie Capital of Minnesota” by Gov. Rudy Perpich. Pie Day began in 1990 as a pie and ice cream social in July, funded by a tourism grant for festivals celebrating a community focus after the 4th of July. Davis says the show will air sometime between January and March.
