Burnett County Public To Look at Signage
Tuesday, the residents of Burnett County will get their chance to weigh in on a proposed sign ordinance in the county. Courts ruled that the most recent ordinance is no longer valid and the county is now in the process of drafting a new one.
The proposed ordinance would ban off-premise signage and billboards, but the current one would be grandfathered in. Instead the county would us directional arrow-type signs possibly up to only two per business.
The meeting is scheduled to start at 9 a.m. at the County Government Center.
