The Pine City Dragons spectacular football season came to an end, Friday, with a 37-16 loss to Holy Family Catholic. The Dragons finish the season 9-2. They now look forward to next season, however, they will be doing it without their head coach Bill Christianson.

Coach Christianson told his team Friday that he will step down from his head coach duties after six successful seasons. Coach ” C” worked for the Dragons football program for the past 10 years and coached football for the past 25 years.

Christianson says he wants to devote his time to his son, senior captain Billy Christianson, who is pursuing a collegiate football career.
